EachStep Blackley is proud to have been awarded Manchester City Council's 'Daisy' Dignity accreditation - celebrating their dedication to giving the people they support care that maintains their independence and choice.

Alongside fellow Community Integrated Care  service Longford Care Home in Chorlton, EachStep was presented with the accolade by Councillor Paul Andrews, Executive Member for Adult Health and Wellbeing at Manchester City Council, at the ceremony in Manchester Town Hall. The Dignity Awards are part of Manchester City Council’s work to promote best practice in the care of adults, and are offered following a series of thorough assessments and evaluations.

Councillor Paul Andrews, who presented both services with their award, said: "These awards not only recognise quality but also the effort that has gone into exceeding care standards. It’s vital that we treat older people, who are often very vulnerable, with the respect and dignity that they deserve."
